For 2024, for CubeCon, I was asked to create a panel about the process of designing a cube for first-time designers who may be overwhelmed by the process, since it’s a pretty daunting process.
I’ve been making content about cube, mostly about cube design, since 2010 and this panel goes over a lot of what I’d learned over the years and how I’d do it if I had to do it again (and my general process when I make a new cube.)
I might do an article about it in the future to go more into details on things, but if I was to link someone to a piece for “how do I make a cube", I’d link them to this if watching/listening to a 1.5 hour video is within their wheelhouse since it breaks down the overwhelming process and has a lot of valuable lessons that I’ve learned over the years.
I presented this 1.5 hour panel for Tabletop Jocks/Tabletop Talks, which has a youtube playlist of other great videos they’ve had with some content creators.
